Especially now, the country is facing the worst flooding crisis in decades. Millions of people in many provinces are suffering including our customers, sales representatives, and employees.

In response to that, the company has implemented projects to assist all parties from the very beginning, by donating money and necessary relief items to related organizations for helping the flood victims with total value of more than 5 hundred thousand Baht. Moreover, with introduction of special campaign to provide relief for flood victims, underscoring this year’s slogan of “Thank you for your 60 years of trust, in every rhythm of your life”, the company will donate 60 Baht from every purchase of new insurance policy during December 1-31, 2011 to the Chaipattana Foundation to help flood victims. The company expects to raise at least one million Baht.

Now the water level began to decrease in some areas; therefore, the company continues to provide assistance to local communities to rehabilitate the environment. Its pilot project is the ‘Big Cleaning Day’ mobilizing over 100 volunteers from employees and sales representatives, together with senior executives to help in restoring and cleaning Bua Luang temple and Bua Luang temple school in Pathum Thani province. They will also cook food through “Ayudhya Allianz C.P. Mobile Kitchen” to distribute to the flood victims in the area as well.

"The flooding crisis we’re facing today is the most critical natural disaster that ever happened in Thai history. The damage has been found to be widespread, from agriculture to industry, commerce, financial institutions and households. While Bangkok, the economic centre of Thailand, is hit hard as many areas are still submerged. This flood was initially assessed with damage totaling more than one trillion baht. People cannot live their normal life.

“However, no matter how hard it is, as long as Thai people can stick together, leaving no one behind, we can pass through this crisis together. We can unite to overcome all obstacles. We believe that helping each other and unity of Thais will help all of us fight this crisis together and win it eventually. We, at Ayudhya Allianz C.P., encourage and will help Thai people all along following our vision of “Ayudhya Allianz C.P. will provide security to every Thai family”, Ms. Patchara concluded.
